i recommend to you one of the podcast. the title of it is the Inside Story - HD ILO: Eliminate child labour.
this video is made by the International Labour Organization. the ILO is a kind of organization which i introduced before when i posted as an example of a good site. the organization has an accomplishment against an elimination of child labor.
a good point of the podcast is that there are many opinions from four different countries, Pakistan, Janeva, Islamabad and London. after you understand basic information about the present condition of child labor, you can clearly know conditions and opinions relating to what we should do against this problem. in this pod cast, they said that one of the problem is a domestic work.

This sounds like an excellent podcast, Yuki. Ones that give perspectives of various countries on issues are especially helpful. From what you've written, I get the impression that this podcast not only shows the current situation regarding child labour, but also what you can do about it. I wonder what suggestions were given...to boycott certain goods?; To avoid tourism to particular areas?
返信削除Since the problem is occurring in many countries I think it would be great we can get information from as many countries as possible, so the podcast you found is good for us. In fact, I didn't know much about domestic working until your presentation in the previous class. It may be very difficult for us to find or ban those kinds of child labour, because we cannot see inside of houses nor what is going on there. Getting knowledge of the issue and sharing them with people around us, will be important to solve the problem in the as soon the future as possible.

Firstly, we can get basic knowledge about child labor, so it is helpful for people who don’t know about child labor. Secondly, after getting information about child labor, we can compare the reality in 4 countries. It means that we can get various information about child labor and we can know the difference between countries. I want to introduce this podcast to many people and make them notice the seriousness of child labor. We should eliminate the domestic work now.
